Obituary for
Clifford Wayne Mertick
On April 5, 2019 Mr. Clifford Wayne Mertick of Whitecourt, AB, passed away at the age of 65 years after a brief battle with cancer.
Clifford leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Brigitte, his son, Jeffrey (Elisa); daughters, Kelly-Ann (Graham) and Alexis; brother Gerald (Elva); sister, Diane Williams; niece, Jayda Williams and her daughters, Skye and Summer; and many more dear relatives, colleagues and friends. Predeceased by parents, Alex and Helen; and brother-in-law, Alby.
Cliff will be forever missed and remembered for his kindness, easygoing manner and witty remarks. He loved karaoke, Angry Birds, Star Trek, crib and the beach. He also enjoyed travelling with Brigitte and helping his Edward Jones clients as their financial advisor.
Celebration of Life April 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 44, 4928 – 51 Avenue, Whitecourt. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society – Alberta/NWT, 200 – 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5.
