Obituary of Shirley Anne Linda WELTON
Shirley Welton (nee Klein), beloved wife of John Welton of Calgary, passed away on April 03, 2019 at the age of 77 years.
She was a NATIVE CALGARIAN born October 29, 1941. Fifty eight years ago, Shirley chose her birthday to become Mrs. John Welton. In 1971 they purchased Shirley’s grandparents home in Renfrew. Since then, she and John have become legendary for their remarkable special occasion yard displays. Together they became a huge part of the community and she was loved by all. Shirley was a thoughtful, loving and caring person to the many of all ages whose lives she touched.
She will be sadly missed by JOHN, her love and best friend for 58 years. Also missing Shirley are her brothers, Jim (Marilyn) and Larry (Suzana), her grandchildren, Candice (Klaus), Dallas, Jenna-Lea (Chad) and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Chloe, Katelyn, Riley, Olivia and Jaxon.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Bernie Klein.
At Shirley’s request, no service will be held.
If friends so desire, memorial contributions can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, #200, 119 14 Street N.W. Calgary, T2N 1Z6, 403 270 3549 www.heartandstroke.ca
