WOLFE – Rosetta Maude, 78, of Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Halifax Infirmary on Thursday, February 28, 2019.
Born in Mersey Point, Queens County, Rosetta was a daughter of the late Ernest and Evelyn (Boutilier) Hubley
Rosetta worked as a waitress for the former Stedman’s Store in Liverpool and as a clerk at the Five Star Video on Main Street. She, along with her husband Arnold delivered papers for over 25 years along the shore road. She enjoyed quilting and going for leisurely drives with her husband.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years Arnold; her daughter Pat Roy of Brooklyn, her sons James (Tammy) of Mersey Point and Sherad of Bridgewater. Her grandchildren Michael Roy (Jennifer Lawson) , Leslie (Tracy) Roy, Marshall Drew and Mandy Drew. Her step granddaughter Mariah, her great grandchildren Logan Roy, Madison Roy, Cheyanne Zwicker and Ashlyn Zwicker.
Rosetta was predeceased by her daughter Nancy Drew and her furry, lover of her life, companion, Joey.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. At Rosetta’s request, there will be no funeral service. No flowers. Donations may be made to Queens Branch S.P.C.A. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
