Peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke with her loving family by her side on Tuesday March 19, 2019 at the age of 80 years. Virginia Gauthier (nee Blaedow) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Glen Gauthier. Loved and cherished mother of Mark Gauthier (Heather), Timmins, Maureen Gauthier (Darrell) Oromocto NB, Nancy Gauthier (Daniel), Toronto and Grant Gauthier (Jennifer), Pembroke. Loving Nana to Adam, Bryson, Macy, Joshua, Matthew, Troy, Madison, Bailey, Jade, Joel, Adam and Jessie and great grandchildren Graham, Oliver, Phoenix, Korbyn, Kaydence and Liam. Dear sister of Gladys Fiebig (late Eric), Jenny Mulligan (late Stan), Donald Blaedow (Alma) and Earl Blaedow. Predeceased by sisters Anne Fraser (late Cliff), Edna Briscoe (late Bill), Eleanor Robinson, Esther Sylvestre (late Norm) and brothers Elmer (late Madelaine), Harold (late Theresa), Daniel Jr. ( late Lee), Stanley (late Mary) and Lloyd Blaedow. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Jane (nee Radke) Blaedow. Friends are invited to share their memories of Virginia with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street Pembroke on Thursday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday March 22nd at 11:00 a.m. in St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke.
