1941-2019
Bathurst – Mrs. Veronica Chamberlain,
77, wife of Roger Chamberlain, of North Tetagouche, passed away on
Sunday March 10, 2019 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital,
Bathurst.
Born in Corner Brook, NF, she was the
daughter of the late James and Annie (Arnold)
Callahan.
Besides her husband, she is survived
by two children:
William Provost (Chantal Gosselin) of
Montreal, QC and
Julie Chamberlain of New Hampshire,
USA.
Six grandchildren: Sonia, Amanda,
Lisa, Emily, Nicky and Sam.
One brother, Ray Callahan (Georgie) of
South Carolina, USA.
Six sisters: Sheila Callahan of
Brockville, ON, Marjorie St-Denis (Raymond) of Montreal, QC, Brigitte
Penny (Garland), Joan Lockyer (Baxter) and Marie Oxford all of Corner
Brook, NF and Theresa Pinsent of Belleview, NF.
Several nieces and
nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a daughter,
Suzy, brothers: Jack, Bill, Ed, Kevin; sisters: Betty and
Mary.
Visitations will be
held after 2 p.m. Tuesday March 19th
at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com),
Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday
March 20,
2019 at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave.,
Bathurst. Visiting hours are Tuesday March
19th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Wednesday from
9 a.m. until time of
Funeral.
Donations in memory of Veronica,
donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite
charity.
