Passed away peacefully with family by his side, at Collingwood General & Marine Hospital, on Friday, March 1st, 2019, at the age of 70. Vern, beloved husband of Gail. Loving father of Catherine (John) Tetz and Daniel (Crystal) all of Calgary, AB. Dear Papa of Rachel Kingdon and Anna Tetz. Loving brother of Elaine (Donald) Palmer. Dear uncle of Jennifer (David) Kurpjuweit and Alison (Pepe) Schipprack. Fondly remembered by many family and friends. Retired Sergeant from Metro Toronto Police Service after 30 years.
