On March 8, 2019 Mrs. Rose Irene Stanley of Frog Lake passed away at the age of 67 years. She is survived by her children, Beverly Cardinal & Melvin (Alycia) Cardinal; adopted sons, Travis Thomas, Matthew Thomas, Cornell Tootoosis, Ryan Taylor Cardinal, Dean Stanley, Baby Len, Bobby Cardinal, Ervin Stanley & Bernard (Laverna) Fryingpan; adopted daughters, Vivian McGilvery, Shelley Whitford-Arcand, Crystal Osguthorpe, Trysta Cook, Sylvia Carter, Waskahat Girls & Bev’s Girlfriends; 25 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; step-father, John Joe Fryingpan; siblings, Lorraine Stanley, Marvin Stanley, Ronald Stanley, Kevin (Joyce) Stanley, Freda Angus, Kenny Meestos, Glen Cook & Angie Meestos; adopted siblings, Eliza (Oliver) Brertton, Christina Faithful & Margaret Rose; numerous nieces & nephews. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Melvin Cardinal; daughter, Stephanie Cardinal; son, John Cardinal; grandson, Connor Cardinal; parents, William Peechowe & Annie M. Stanley; maternal grandparents, George & Agnes Stanley; paternal grandparents, Joe & Suzan Peechowe; brothers, Irvin Stanley, Gordon Stanley & Charles Jackson; sister, Hazel Bearboy. A Wake will be held on Monday (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Tuesday, March 11 & 12 at Frog Lake Band Hall, Frog Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Frog Lake Band Hall, Frog Lake.
