PATTERSON, Stanley Edward “Stan” ~ Age 77, Millville, Kings Co., passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, Kings Co., on September 16, 1941, he was a son of the late Dean and Jessie (Foster) Patterson. Stan owned and operated Stan’s Oil Burner Service for many years. He had been a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 98, Kingston. Stan enjoyed spending time riding his motorcycle and four wheeler. In earlier years, he enjoyed camping and time spent on the golf course. Surviving are his wife of 57 years the former Ervena L. Hamilton; daughter, Tanya (Patrick) Knickle, Middleton; grandsons, Bradford and Mason; brothers, Richard (the late Faye) Patterson, Manitoba; Arthur Patterson, Aylesford; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by son, Bradford Patterson; sister, Beatrice (Roy) Jones. Visitation will take place from 7-9 p.m., Saturday evening in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 17, Rev. Patty Beals officiating, with interment in Aylesford Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation, Middleton.
