A Grey Sister of the Immaculate Conception, Pembroke, ON died in Pembroke on the 18th day of March, 2019 in the 83rd year of her Religious Life. Left to mourn are the members of her Religious Community, her sister, Sister Geraldine Daley, g.s.i.c, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents John Patrick and Bridget (McCormick), borthers, Leonard and Raymond, sisters, Lima Smith, Evelyn Ryan, Mary Sullivan and Olive Daly. Sister Susan was born in Wanganui, Sk., on October 16th, 1919. She entered the Community on January 30th, 1937, pronouncing final vows on July 31st, 1942. A teacher and missionary, she served at the Chinese Catholic Centre, Vancouver, B.C., Lishui and Lungchuan, China; Shimabara and Nagasaki, Japan; and in the Dominican Republic for many years. At the Caritas Residence, she continued to serve as Sacristan when needed and as a member of Working Committees. Her final years were lived peacefully at Shalom Residence, Pembroke. Visitation at the Caritas Residence, 215 Deacon Street, Pembroke,ON from 9:00-10:00
a.m., Saturday. March 23, 2019. Sharing of memories; 10:00-10:15 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel. Interment in St. Columba’s Cemetery. Arrangements by the
