It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Silvino Silva Da Costa on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Silvino passed away at the age of 65.
Silvino is survived by his wife Lucia; children Marco (Dayna), Silvia (Geoff), Nelio, Diana (Frank), Tiago; grandchildren Eric, Gabriela, Alex, Summer, Alejandro; siblings Manuel, Maria do Espírito Santo (António), Olga, Verginio (Fatima), Maria de Jesus (Sidonio); brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as his many nieces and nephews.
Silvino was born in Algarvia Nordeste, São Miguel, Azores, Portugal to Ludevina and Joao da Costa on June 15, 1953. He immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada in October 1989. Silvino worked for Forum Construction as a Labourer for 30 years.
Silvino enjoyed watching soccer, playing his harmonica, gardening, listening to cantigas ao desafio and playing Super Mario Nintendo.
