Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Shirley Squires aged 75 years. Predeceased by her son Joseph Squires; daughter Lisa Squires; brothers Nolan and Tom Bennett and mother Jean Bennett. Left with fond and loving memories her loving husband of 55 years Joseph; son Gerard Squires; daughter Sandra (Robert) Hennessey; son Mark (Seryna) Squires; grandchildren Andrew and Gerard Squires, Bobby (Sarah) Hennessey, Christopher Hennessey, Shannon (David) Hennessey, Lisa Squires (Danny), Mark Jr. Squires (Kayla) and Jordan Squires; great grandchildren Skylee, Bailey, Madison, Adele, Miles and Aubree; special friends Vera and Jennifer Bennett, Jean and Reg, Rowena and family, Ches and Daisy, Dennis Keough, Joan and Jack Courtney. As well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thank you to the Paramedics, Fire Fighters, Rescue Unit, Dialysis Unit, Sobeys Square and the ICU at St. Clare’s Hospital for all their care and support. Cremation has taken place. No visitation or funeral service by request. Donations may be made in her memory to the Janeway Foundation or to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
