Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 13, 2019, at the age of 85 years, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her beloved husband and soul mate Ernie (2003). Loving and devoted mother of Shelly Bondy and husband Terry Head, Sue and husband Maurice Pietracupa, Ernie Jr. and wife Gloria Bondy. Loving Gram of Matthew, David, Michael, Holly (Emmet), Ernie III and Frank. Great Gram of Cillian. Predeased by parents Leslie and Edna Allen. Dear sister of the late Carol Ziriada (Bill), Pat Dietrich (Don), Cecile Charron (Fran). Sister in law of the late Jeanette Hamelin (late Nelson), Lloyd Bondy (Judy), the late Annette Meloche (late Bob). Shirley enjoyed many years of golfing with friends and being active in the Amherstburg community as a member of the Rotary Club and Red Hats. Shirley will always be remembered for her strong devotion to her family and being a selfless person who always thought of others before herself. She touched all of our lives with love, kindness and compassion.

Visiting on Sunday March 17, 2019 3-5, 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 18, 2019 at 9:45 am at Families First, 585 Sandwich Street South, Amherstburg, 519-969-5841.
