Obituary of Sherry (Logan) Gower
Sherry Darlene (Logan) Gower, age 56, of Alma, passed away on Thursday, March 7th, in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with her loving family close by her side.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Douglas and Sharon (Wilson) Logan, Westville.
Sherry will never leave our hearts, she set an example for everyone by her love and courage. Sherry will fondly be remembered for her kindness to all who knew her; especially as a mother, sister, friend and was affectionately known as Nama to her 5 grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her children; Bradley Logan (Liz), Stellarton, Jonathan Gower, Fox Brook, Ashley Gower (Cory), Caribou River, Daniel MacDonald (Sydney), Alma; grandchildren, Konnor Gower, Jaiden and Ashton Chislett, Camdyn and Kaleigh Logan; sisters; Beverley Thorne (Bob), Thorburn, Donna Logan (Gordie), Westville; her partner, Paul Fortune, Westville.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
Cremation has taken place. Sherry’s family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Monday, March 11th at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. There will be no funeral service by request. A grave side service will take place at MacLeod Cemetery, Fox Brook, at a later date.
