With heavy hearts the family of Sandra Jean Kelly announces her passing that occurred on Tuesday February 26, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, following a period of failing health. Born 1944 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Bernice (White) Kelly.
Sandra worked for many years, most recently at TS Simms up until her retirement. She enjoyed playing TV Bingo, crocheting and looking after children. Sandra will forever be remembered for her kindness and generosity and her family will always cherish the memories they made together.
She is survived by her siblings Brian Kelly, Rhonda Shonaman and Gary Kelly all of Saint John; nieces Vanessa Shonaman of Saint John and Stacey Sloan of Surrey, BC; nephew David Adams of Mission, BC; great nieces and nephews Dylan and Tyler Shonaman, Mikayla Sloan, Titus Adams and Wyatt Adams and her feline companion Willow. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister Linda Adams.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. At her request there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, donations may be made to the SPCA Animal Rescue.
