1940-2019
ST-IGNACE, NB – Rose Marchildon 78, of St-Ignace
passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent
on Friday, March 15, 2019. Born in St. Charles North, NB,
she was the daughter of the late Patrick Chevarie and late Marie-Anne
(Ouellette) Chevarie.
Rose will be sadly missed by her daughter, Dianne Bagshaw
(Steve) of Oshawa, ON; two sons, André Marchildon (Ana) of
Cambridge, ON; Gerard Surrette; six grandchildren, Laura, Derrick,
Tania, Justin, Natasha, Michaela and two great grandchildren, Dylan
and Hannah.
She is also survived by one sister, Geraldine Carr (late
Ricky) of Orilla, ON; two brothers, Patick Chevarie of St. Charles,
Leonard Chevarie (Joanne) of St. Charles and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Guy
Raymond Marchildon; one son, Alain; two sisters, Sylvia, Lina and one
brother, Louis.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Tuesday beginning at 1:00 pm until departure for the
funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March
19, 2019 at 4:00 pm, St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, St.
Ignace. Donations in Rose’s memory may be made to
the Mental Health Association or NB Lung Association and would be
appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
