At Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB with her family at her side, Rosaline passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 10, 2019. She was born in Meteghan, NS, daughter of the late Ulysse and Catherine Deveau.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her soulmate, Andrew, and her brothers Leonard, Donald, Melburne and Emile. She is survived by two daughters; Elaine (Pete) Stewart of Saint John, NB, and Yvonne (Glenn) Greenlaw of St. Stephen, NB; three grandchildren; Michelle Greenlaw-Sheppard (Peter), and Erin Norman (Rob) of St. Andrews and Dr. Kristin Greenlaw (Nick McGrath) of Halifax, NS; three great grandchildren, Mira and Landon Norman and Taylor Sheppard of St. Andrews, NB. She is also survived by one sister, Regina (Bob) McLeod of New Glasgow, NS who she was very close to and talked with weekly and sister in law Barbara Deveau of Meteghan NS, and several nieces and nephews.
Rosaline was an empowering independent role model. She loved life.
A special thank you to her neighbour David Essensa who was like a son to her and enabled her to feel comfortable enough to stay in her home. Also, thank you to the staff of Floor One at Charlotte County Hospital for their care and compassion.
In keeping with Rosaline’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. A private family service will be held at a later date. Remembrances in memory of Rosaline may be made to the charity of ones choice. Condolences may be sent to the family online www.mehanfuneralhome.ca.
