Décédé paisiblement le mercredi 13 mars 2019 à l’âge de 94 ans. Il était le fils de feu Éva Thériault (née Rochon) et Ernest Thériault et l’époux bien-aimé de feu Claire (née Létourneau). Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Michel (Katherine McKinnon), Louis (Jo-Ann Chamberlain), Nicole, Anne-Marie (Claude Hurtubise), Réginald (Andrée Poirier) et Bertrand (Michelle Saucier); ses 11 petits-enfants: Hayden, Taylor, Karson, Justin, Jennifer, Christopher, Anne-Marie, François, Caroline, Catherine et David, et 4 arrières petits-enfants: Emma, Théodore, Colin et Maxine, ainsi que sa grande amie Émilienne Gérard.
La famille recevra parents et amis à la chapelle St. Laurent de Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200, chemin Ogilvie (angle promenade de l’Aviation), Ottawa, le mercredi 20 mars 2019 de 14 h à 16 h et de 18 h à 20 h. Le célébration eucharistique aura lieu en l’église Sainte-Geneviève, 825, avenue Canterbury, Ottawa, le jeudi 21 mars 2019 à 11 h. L’inhumation aura lieu au cimetière de l’Espoir. Peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the age of 94. Dear son of the late Éva Thériault and (née Rochon) and the late Ernest Thériault. Dearly beloved husband of the late Claire (née Létourneau). Dear father of Michel (Katherine McKinnon), Louis (Jo-Ann Chamberlain), Nicole, Anne-Marie (Claude Hurtubise), Réginald (Andrée Poirier) and Bertrand (Michelle Saucier). Roland will be dearly missed by his 11 grandchildren, Hayden, Taylor, Karson, Justin, Jennifer, Christopher, Anne-Marie, François, Caroline, Catherine, David, and 4 great-grandchildren, Emma, Théodore, Colin and Maxine, and by his dear friend Émilienne Gérard.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) Ottawa, on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Sainte-Geneviève Roman Catholic Church, 825 Canterbury Avenue, Ottawa on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 11 am. Interment will be held at Hope Cemetery.
