Passed away after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, March 5th, 2019 surrounded by his family at the Health Sciences Centre, age 73.
Predeceased by his parents Maurice and Sarah Hogan, his brothers John Francis and Lawrence, mother and father-in-law Anthony and Clara Power.
Leaving with fond and beautiful memories, his loving wife of 42 years Gertrude (Bobby) nee Power, his son Perry (Jennifer) his two darling grandchildren Emma and Alexa.
Brothers Dominic (Bud) (Patricia), Terry (Maureen), Cyril (Patricia) and Gerald (Alphia).
Sisters Catherine, Esther (Gary Connolly, deceased), Madonna, Florence (Nick Waterman), Marion (Carl Bradbury), Patricia (Wayne Jennings), Agatha (Bob Gosse), Lillian (Lindsay Codner, deceased) and Mary (Eugene Coates).
Brothers-in-law Anthony Power (Loretta) and Raymond. Sister-in-law Margaret (Vincent McCoy).
Very special niece Michelle Roche. Special friends Margaret and Ted Everson and Bernie and Theresa Parsons as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Friday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 10 a.m. from St. Michael’s Church, Flatrock. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in his memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
