Raymond Hachey
1937-2019
Beresford – Raymond Hachey, 82,
of Martin St., Beresford, passed away suddenly on Tuesday February 26,
2019 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst,
he was the son of the late Peter and Florida (Chiasson)
Hachey.
Raymond worked as a miner
for several years in Elliott Lake; then for Caribou Mines, Heath
Steele Mines and Brunswick Mines until his retirement.
He is survived by four brothers: Wilfred, Martin (Rochel),
Maurice
(Regina), all of Bathurst and Michael of Moncton.
Two sisters: Theresa Campeau
(late Jean-Guy) of Val d’Or, QC., Yvette Fizli
(Peter) of Miramichi.
Raymond is also survived by
nephews: Tim, Allan, Glynn, Bobby, Sandor, Derrick, Jean, Paul, Karl.
Nieces: Rachel, Carmen Compeau, Carmen Corbeil, Susan, Lisa, Judy,
Linda, Joyce, Irene and Connie. Besides
his parents Raymond pre-deceased by two brothers: Edmond (Estelle),
Armand (Aline) and three sisters: Jeanne-Mance
Corbeil (Ernest), Annette Noël (Stan), and Aline Hachey.
There
will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Thursday March 7,2019 at 4 p.m. from Holy Family Church,
Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Raymond may be
made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.

Bathurst.
