Philip van Velsen
December 2, 1999 – March 4, 2019
Philip was born in Rimbey, Alberta and passed away suddenly and unexpectedly due to a heart failure on March 4, 2019.
Philip attended Rimbey Christian School and Rimbey Junior/Senior High School where he graduated in 2017. Philip had a love for tractors. He loved to help out on the farm but he also loved to be with his friends. He was fun and caring and always made the people around him laugh. Philip was always willing to help others whenever needed. Philip was currently working towards a diploma in Agriculture management at Olds College and was looking forward to possibly taking some time off to travel.
Philip will be greatly missed by his parents Frank and Johanna and his siblings, Michelle (Jon), Niels (Krista), Marika (Dan), Paul (Melissa), and Jesse. Philip was a great uncle to Halle, Alexa, Kadence and Landon.
A memorial service in memory of Philip will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 1:00pm, at the Peter Lougheed Community Centre in Rimbey.
