Obituary of Peter Metcalfe
Peter Bruce Metcalfe of Culross Township, passed away at Wingham & District Hospital on Tuesday, March 19th, 2019, at age 74.
Beloved husband of Joyce Metcalfe (née Vaughan) of Culross Township.
Dear father of Jack Metcalfe (Diane) of Whitechurch and Trevor Metcalfe of Formosa.
Missed by his grandchildren, Mark, Emma, Mackenzie, Madison and Mitchell Metcalfe.
Fondly remembered by his brother Paul Metcalfe (Nori) of Rockwood, Wendy Metcalfe of Mildmay, brothers-in-law George Vaughan (Barb) of Magnetawan and Ron Vaughan (Darlene) of Corbeil, several nieces and nephews and others that have grown up being like one of his own.
Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Joan (née MacDonald) Metcalfe, father and mother-in-law, Bill and Verna Vaughan and sister-in-law Marlene Shepherd (Barry).
A celebration of Peter’s life will take place at his home, 815 Sideroad 25 North (corner of Concession 12 and Sideroad 25) on Friday, March 22nd 2018 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or Onecare, Wingham would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
