It is with heavy hearts, the family of Patricia “Pat” Ann Dunlop, loving wife of William Dunlop, announces her passing which occurred on Monday, March 18, 2019 at the Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Kentville, NS she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Marie (Babin) McEachern. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Robert McEachern and sister Bette Frenette.
Pat worked for the unemployment insurance for several years, and babysat children for 12 years. She was an avid Red Sox Fan and enjoyed crafts, gardening, looking after her dog Maggie and spending time with her grandchildren. She will sadly missed but always remembered by her family.
In addition to her devoted husband of 57years, Bill, she is survived by her sons Stephen (Carol), Kent (June) and Scott (Mei); cherished grandchildren Kevin, Kelsey, Abby, Elizabeth and Andrew; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ann’s Church, 135 Simpson Drive, on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pat may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, Rocmaura Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
