It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Michael Yurchyshyn
on March 13, 2019 in Cranbrook, BC. Norman was born on May 20, 1946 in smith, AB and lived in Eaglesham AB with his parents and brother. He completed his grade 12 education in Grande Prairie, AB and then joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in January of 1966. He married Shirley on September 1, 1977 and they had their son Burton in 1979, followed by their daughter Corey in 1980.
Norman was predeceased by his mom and dad, and brother Lawrence.
Norman is survived by his loving wife Shirley, son Burton, daughter Corey, 2 grandsons Riley and Chase, as well as his nieces and nephews.
A service for Norman will be held on Thursday March 21, 2019 at the Cranbrook United Church at 11:00am. Interment will follow at 2:00pm at the Fort Steele Cemetery.
Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Norman’s honour may do so to the charity of their choice.
