Peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 of Merrill “Mel” LaBrech age 78 years and formerly of Souris West, PE.
Loving husband of 59 years to Louise LaBrech (nee Gallant). He will be deeply missed by his children Carl (Kim), Gina L’Esperance (Tim), Craig, Rachel Chapman (Craig) and John. Dear grandfather to Deanna, Justin, Chantel, Bradley, Ava Grace, Bailey, Max, Jake, Cole, Jessica, Danika, Drew, Tori Jayne, Chloe and chosen grandchildren Dryden, Carolyn, Tyler and Jenny. Also to mourn his loss are numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Survived by his brother Donnie LaBrech. Predeceased by his son Paul LaBrech, brother Johnny LaBrech, sister Beverly “Cindy” Bruce and his parents William LaBrech and Gertrude and Cedric Allen.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home with visiting hours on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 5-8pm and Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 9-10am. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00am. Interment to follow in the St. Alexis church cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations can be made to the St. Alexis cemetery fund. Family flowers only.
