Massey; Merle Sinclair – October 31, 1929 – March 9, 2019 – Passed away peacefully at Lennox and Addington County General Hospital on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the age of 89. Loving father to Debbie Massey of Kingston, Beth Massey (Peter) of Lindsay and Linda Massey (Clarence) of Lasalle. Cherished grandfather to Catherine (Freddy), Matthew (Marisa) and Sydney (Brandon). Merle will be missed by his brother Vincent Massey, his wife Phyllis and their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also by several good friends and neighbours. Merle has been actively involved with several community organizations over the years and particularly enjoyed singing in the Grace Church Choir. He enjoyed spending his time fishing with his good friend Bob and contributing to the local arts community through his paintings. The family invites you to join them at a Memorial Reception at the Wartman Funeral Home – Napanee Chapel on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 1:00-4:00 pm. Friends desiring may contribute by cheque or credit card to the Napanee-Deseronto Pastoral Charge (Grace United Church) or Greater Napanee and Area Art Association (cheques only).
