Surrounded by her family, Marysia Ligocki, beloved wife of Wladyslaw Ligocki, passed away in the early hours of Saturday, March 16, 2019, after a lengthy battle with heart and stroke disease at the Sarcee Carewest at the age of 83 years.
Born in Gostyn, Poland on June 7, 1935, Marysia is survived by her children, Bernadette, Anna, and Edward Ligocki; her granddaughter, Marta Jull-Ligocki; as well as numerous nephews and nieces in Calgary and Poland.
The family extends gratitude to all the nursing staff at the Sarcee Carewest Unit 3 for the care and dignity they offered Marysia in her final months.
