It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Anne Yamich announces her sudden passing on Sunday March 24, 2019, at the age of 81 years. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mark Yamich (Suzanne) and Kara Vincelli (Paul) and grandchildren Victoria, Jacqueline, Samuel and Katie, along with Joseph Yamich. Mary was born in Duparquet, Quebec the daughter of Manda and John Sarich (pre-deceased), and sister of the late Joe Sarich (Cleta), Tony Sarich (Rosemary), Catherine Way (Bob predeceased), and Joan Coventry (Ralph). Mary will be lovingly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mary was a proud resident of Oakville for over 50 years and spent most of her working career with the Teamsters and the Halton Police Association. She was a member of the St. James Parish, singing in the choir and helping in the office. True to her Croatian roots, Mary will forever be remembered for her hospitality, warmth and generous nature.
Visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville on Friday, March 29th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at the St. James Parish, 231 Morden Rd, Oakville at 11am on Saturday, March 30th. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
