Peacefully with his family by his side at the Trillium Manor on Friday March 8, 2019 at the age of 82. Marvin Tingey, beloved husband of Marion Tingey. Loving father of Ian (Lori Anne) Tingey, Suzanne Vail and Lise (Darryl) MacDonald. Loved grandfather of Riley, Morgan and Alexandra. Predeceased by his brothers Lorne and Brent and survived by brothers Sam (Jo-Anne) Lawlor and Tom (Peggy) Lawlor. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. A special thanks goes to the Bracebridge Hospital Rehab section who gave him wonderful care and friendship , and to the staff at Trillium Manor who with their kindness and care made his journey easier. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Marvin’s life will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
