Marjorie Grace Clarke
1930-2019
Marjorie Grace
Clarke – 88, Truro,
formerly of Lower Onslow, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 29,
2019, at The Mira Long Term Care Centre, Truro. Born in Masstown, she
was a daughter of the late John and Flora (Dykeman)
Murray.
Marjorie was a member of the former Lower Onslow United
Church and then with Trinity United Church after amalgamation and was
a long-time member of the UCW. She and her beloved late husband,
Kenneth, were best friends and they loved camping at “The Shady
Nook” and enjoyed doing many other activities together. She loved
going for drives, visiting and the beauty of flowers but not the
weeding to make them that way. Mom provided a loving home for her
family and we will remember her delicious cooking abilities with some
of our favourites being homemade bread, apple pies, beans and cinnamon
rolls.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Geraldine (Bill) Day,
Cushing, Maine; Gary Clarke (Pamela Langille), Oliver, Colchester
County; Gail Hughes (Jim Briggs), Harmony; Donna Shearer, Debert;
