It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marina Rose announce her passing on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Mountain View House in Meadows at the age of 82 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 62 years Gordon; children: Shawn (Bonnie) and Joan (John) Brophy; grandchildren: John Jr., Jamie (Robert), Shakira (Greg), Anissa and Stacey; great-granddaughter Alexis; sisters: Bonnie and Diane (Charlie); brothers: Rick (Lillian) and Jack (Noella); as well as a large circle of sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Daniel and Hazel MacLean, sister Claudia Young and brother Garland MacLean. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Rev. Calvin Andrews and Pastor Jeremy Simms officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request, donations may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital or the Alzheimer Society.
