Bimm, Marie Ann: nee Flaherty (July 23, 1949 – March 18, 2019): Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at her home in Avondale on Monday, March 18, 2019, Marie Ann Bimm nee Flaherty of Avondale in her 69th year. Predeceased by her parents: Joseph & Mary, brothers: Joseph, Edward, Cletus & Jerome. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Kenneth of 52 years, sons: Kenneth (Jennifer) & Carl (Erin), daughter Terri, special friend Tony, grandchildren: Kyle, Riley, Carleigh, Connor, Cara, Cassie, Miigan & Rayne, sisters: Lena Warren (Art) & Carol (Gary), brothers: Hilary (Joan), George (Irene), Father Clem, & Ray (Ann), sisters in-law: Brenda Flaherty & Gwen Rutland (John), brother in-law Ralph Bimm (Gloria), aunts: Clara Ryan, Margaret Fewer & Olie Kennedy, numerous nieces, nephews, two god children: Lorie & Rodney & a large circle of family & friends in Newfoundland & Ontario. At her request cremation has taken place. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 2 pm – 4 pm & 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral will take place at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 21, 2019 with Mass of Christian Burial from Assumption Church, Avondale. Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Assumption Parish Church, Avondale. Please visit www.dunphys.ca to sign the memorial guest book or to leave a message of condolence.
