Peacefully at North Lambton Lodge, Forest on January 26, 2019, Margaret Crombie (Page) Carmichael passed away three months shy of her 102nd birthday. Predeceased by the love of her life of nearly 80 years, Kenneth Ronald Carmichael (2012). Loving mother of Margaret (Lloyd) Thompson of Lambton Shores. Also surviving are two grandchildren Mark (Chantal) of Sarnia and Jeff (Lindsay) of Cambridge and four great grandchildren, Emily, Matt, Ben, and Sadie. Predeceased by sisters Jean, Ina, Grace and a brother Alex. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She served as a WREN during WWII at Station X in London, England. Shortly after the war they emigrated. Margaret had many talents; foremost among them were her paintings, unique sweater creations, embroidery and tapestry. Both Margaret and Ken loved to travel and cruised to many countries in the world. Cremation has taken place. A family service will take place in the spring with burial at Ravenswood Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to North Lambton Lodge Auxiliary. Donations and condolences may be left online at www.forestfuneralhome.com. Arrangements entrusted to DENNING’S OF FOREST.
