KELLY, Margaret Charlene (nee Girhiny) – It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Charlene on Saturday March 23, 2019 at the age of 53. Most loving mother to Cassaundra, Curtis, Caitlin and Kyle (NND), and blessed Grandmother of Briar-Rose and Caidan. Loving daughter of Frank and Florence Girhiny. Cherished sister to Frank (Jeannie) Girhiny, Steven (Patricia) Girhiny and Rick (Danielle) Girhiny. Charlene will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and so many friends. Predeceased by her grandparents. When at her best, Charlene lit up a room and made everyone smile with her contagious laugh. She was a beautiful soul who never stopped trying to be her old self. That… is all she ever wanted. A private family viewing followed by cremation has taken place. A public Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday March 30, 2019 at 10:30 am at St. Thomas More Church. A Celebration of Life will follow at Willoughby Fire Hall (11208 Sodom Road, Niagara Falls) from 12 to 3:30 pm. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Fairview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Pathstone Mental Health or The Canadian Mental Health Association (Niagara) would be appreciated.
