Louis Bontront
Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on March 8, 2019 at the age of 80. Reunited with his lifelong sweetheart and wife of 54 years, Helen (née Mongenais, October 5, 2018). Beloved father of Jean-Louis (Mary), Denise (Rob) Marcoux and Monique (Darlene House). Loving Pépé of Danielle (Kevin) Mayrand, Eric, Luc, Jocelynne, Josh, and Grand-Pépé of Charlotte, Tyler and Logan. Predeceased by his parents Louis and Flora Bontront, his sister Annette and husband Paul Faubert, and brother-in-law Jean Mongenais. Dear brother of Marie and Paul Soulliere. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and many dear friends.
Louis was a registered member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and served as a Civil Engineer for Giffels and Rosetti (Detroit) and the City of Windsor Public Works Dept., Roads Division for 32 dedicated years. He loved harness racing, canoeing, watching the Olympics and his Burger King breakfast.

Visiting Monday, March 18, 2019 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 9:30 a.m., leaving in procession at 10:30 a.m. from FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD. East Windsor, 519-969-5841, to Ste. Anne’s Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E.) for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
