Laura Rudderham
1944-2019
We, the family of Laura
Rudderham, regret to announce her passing on Tuesday, March 5, 2019,
at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital,
Sydney.
Born March 31, 1944, in Sydney Mines, she was the daughter of
the late Edward and Sarah (Young) McMullin.
For 23 years,
Laura enjoyed working as a PCW at the
MacGillivray Guest Home, Sydney.
Laura is survived by her husband, Roscoe “Rocky”;
daughter, Sherry Quirk, Victoria, BC; son, Scott, Edwardsville;
sisters, Sally, Tina and Jeanette, Ont.; brothers, Lawrence, Sydney
Mines and Billy and Joe, Ont.; grandchildren, Mitchell, Madison
“Maddy”, Allyce and Bryce.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister,
Shirley and brothers, Edward and Bernie.
There will be no visitation or service. Interment will take
place at a later date.
A sincere thank you to Dr. Dustin Richler, Dr. Khodadad, Dr.
John Ritter, nurses, staff and volunteers in the palliative care unit
at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice Palliative Care Society
of Cape Breton County.
