Weishar, Kenneth John … Passed away unexpectedly at Cambridge
Memorial Hospital on Thursday March 14, 2019 at the age of 89. Loving
and devoted husband of Margaret Weishar (nee Voisin), who together
shared 64 years of marriage. Beloved father of Paul Weishar (Barbara)
and Laurie Gallant. Proud Poppi of Paula, Kennedy, Kurt and Gracie.
Kenneth will also be sadly missed by his sister Marlene, his
son-in-law Michael Gallant, his nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended
family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Magdaline (nee Durrer)
and Leander Weishar, his siblings Geraldine Schill (Joe), Leonard
(Shirley) and his brother-in-law Harvey Voisin. Dad worked as a
Master Carpenter all of his life. He was employed at Canadian Office
School Furniture (COSF) as a foreman his entire working career. He
was offered a position with Zest Furniture Industries in Toronto where
he retired in his late sixties. Dad was a sports enthusiast and
enjoyed coaching, playing and watching all sports. He was a member of
the Knights of Columbus and affiliated with many other clubs and
organizations. At Kenneth’s request, cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Clements Roman Catholic
Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge, on Thursday March 21, 2019 at 11a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Kidney Foundation or a
charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family
