Ken passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, March 4, 2019. Born in Seaforth on July 12, 1954, John Kenneth Anderson of RR#1 Londesborough was 64.
Beloved husband of Diane (née McDougall) Anderson for 41 years. Loving father of the late Luke Anderson (April 26, 1997), Kyle Anderson (Megan) of London, England, Adam Anderson (Veronica) of St. Columban and Cody Anderson (Stacey) of Blyth. Cherished Pa of Logan, Ryan, Aleah, Kenton and Elara. Dear brother of Jim Anderson (Marg), Lynda Horbanuik (Leo), all of RR#1 Londesborough, Pat Arts (Gary), Mary Lou Eichorn (Paul), all of Guelph, Jane Paille (Stephan) of London, and brother-in-law of Wayne McDougall (Debbie), Bill McDougall (Brenda), all of Blyth, Shirley Taylor (Dave Armstrong) of Varna and Kevin McDougall (Terri Harrison) of Bayfield.
Along with his son Luke, Ken is predeceased by his parents Eric and Marjorie (née McClure) Anderson, father-in-law Gordon McDougall, mother-in-law Thelma Johnston (Ken), and his brother-in-law Dan Taylor.
In keeping with Ken’s wishes a private funeral service will be held. Friends are invited to join his family to celebrate Ken’s life on Saturday, March 9, 2019, from 1-4 p.m. at the Seaforth and District Community Centre, 122 Duke St., Seaforth. Interment will be taking place at Maitlandbank Cemetery in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated and can be made through McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.
