Mom and Nana Extraordinaire
Kathy, passed peacefully at the Providence Care Hospital on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, in her 62nd year. Kathy, is the beloved mom of Nicholas (aka Skinny), Melissa and Kathleen. Treasured Nana of Jacob, Deegan, Cameron, Zoey, Christo”pher”, Abigail, and Jace. Cherished sister of George Nute Jr. (Evelyn) of West Lorne, Wes Marlow of Halifax, and Sidney Nute of Kingston. Kathy was predeceased by her loving partner Randy Hunter (2011), dear mother Betty Anne (1988) and nephew Brian Penny (2015). She will be lovingly remembered by her best friend of 47 years Debra Griffin, her many nieces and nephews, Jeff Heinonen and many friends. A heartfelt thank you is extended to the “Angels” at the Providence Care Hospital for the wonderful care that mom received while in their care. In keeping with Kathy’s wishes cremation has taken placed. A celebration of her life and graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations in Kathy’s memory may be made to Maltby Centre for the services that the Carr grandchildren receive.
