Karl Pfanner Tuesday March 5th 2019

PFANNER, Karl, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket on Tuesday March 5th, 2019 at 80 years of age after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband of 42 years to Carol (Dragica nee Kusan). Beloved dad (step father) of Sandy (Ryan Caines) and Zinka (Trevor Tuminski). Proud grandfather (Papa) to Daniel Caines.
Karl was born in Austria on August 2nd, 1938. He was a certified butcher when he arrived in Canada in 1967 and later studied at night to get his Real Estate Licence. He was a Real Estate agent for more than 40 years and found pleasure from helping people finding a home. He took great pride in his own home and spent much of his time renovating, building, gardening or fixing the house to the exacting standards of his wife, Carol. He and Carol were happiest when entertaining family and friends and Karl always made sure there was never an empty glass.
Friends are welcome to join the family for a celebration of life at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Friday, March 15th from 2pm – 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Margaret Bahen Hospice or Stronach Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
