1965-2019
Karen Mary Paul of Tobique First Nation, NB, passed away unexpectedly
on March 11, 2019.
Karen was born in Eastport, ME on March 6, 1965. She was the daughter
of the late Alexander “Sandy” and Gladys (Dana) Paul. Karen
leaves behind her husband, Perry Perley of Tobique First Nation, NB;
her children, Clarissa Perley, Dana A-lok-sis Perley, and Perry
“Mason” Perley, all of Tobique First Nation, NB; her
sisters, Sharon Paul, Sheila Paul, Doreen Paul, and Kimberly Paul, all
of Tobique First Nation, NB, Ashley Paul of Windsor, ON; her brother,
Joseph Paul of Tobique First Nation, NB; her seven grandchildren; and
many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Karen was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Connie Paul; and her
nephew, Evan Paul.
Karen was a very well known Native Crafts Artist. Her works have been
sold in many places around the world.
Resting at the Paul Pyres Community Hall with visitation on Monday
from 10 am until 2 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March
18, 2019 at 2 pm from St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Tobique First Nation,
NB. Father Curtis Sappier will be celebrating. Interment will be in
the parish cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
