Passed away peacefully with family by his side on February 4th at the age of 50. Beloved son of the late Lloyd and Josephine. Cherished brother to Lloyd (Gwen), Ken (Gail), John (Cathy), and Terry (Donna). Proud uncle of Tanya (Adam), Jeremy (Marlo), Leah (Scott), Michelle (Tyler), Katelyn (Steven), and great uncle of Marshall and Preston. Dear cousin to Joanne and her boys. A Celebration of life will be held at the Barnes Memorial Funeral Home Ltd. 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11 o’clock followed by a time of reflection from 12-2pm. Guests are welcome to join the family at the Brooklin Legion Branch 152 afterward. In memory of Joe, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion would be appreciated.
