Joan Mills

Passed away peacefully at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, St. John’s on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Joan Mills, aged 99 years.
Joan was a member of the St. Pius Tenth Parish Council, Catholic Women’s League, and a dedicated volunteer for many years at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home and the Health Sciences Complex.
Leaving to mourn son Gerry; daughter-in-law Marilyn; grandchildren Lauren and Nicholas; nieces Emmie Brown and Joan Gibbs (Toronto) as well as her nieces and nephews in England.
Predeceased by beloved husband Bernard and sisters Pauline (Wadden) and Stella (Sparks).
Sincere thanks to the staff and volunteers of St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, particularly 3 East/West for many years of wonderful care.
Resting at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery.
Thank you, Joan, for a life of love, generosity and friendship. A life well lived.
