Joan Isabel Marie Keiver
1936-2019
Joan Isabel Marie Keiver, 82,
of Midway and more recently of Fundy Royal Manor passed away on
February 27th, 2019 at Forest Dale home, with her family by her side.
Joan was born in Knoxford,
Carleton County, NB on July 21, 1936, the daughter of the late James
and Georgina (Coghill) Enman.
Joan was a homemaker and a
farmer’s wife who was a big part of making life on the farm
great. Her family was her main priority. They say behind every man is
a good woman and this was the case for Donnie and Joan. She was a
quiet lady who didn’t like being the center of attention.
Her fulfillment in life was watching her children shine and grow into
the kind, capable and successful people they are today. Her
grandchildren were her pride and joy and she was always asking about
what they were up to and could often be heard talking about their
accomplishments to others. She will be remembered for her loyalty,
unselfishness and always putting others first. Joan loved to laugh and
had a great sense of humor, we will often think of that little grin or
smirk she had. Her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of her
family forever.
She will be deeply missed by
her children, sons, Terry Keiver (Tammy) of Hillsborough, Dana Keiver
(Cheryl) of Riverview and Jamie Keiver (Kelly) of Midway; her daughter
Susan Carleton (Shaun) of Ontario; her treasured grandchildren Emma,
Zachary, Kasey, Sara, Autumn, Avery, Courtney, Samantha and Matthew;
sister Geraldine “Gerry” Stannard (Jack) of Salem;
sister-in-law, Gloria Enman of NS. She will also
be missed by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was
predeceased by her husband, Donald Keiver in 2017, and her brother
Jack Enman.
Honoring Joan’s own
wishes, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Service and Celebration
of her Life will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on
Saturday, March
2,2019 at 2:00pm
with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. Interment will be in the Bayview
Cemetery, Harvey, Albert County, NB in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations
to the Bayview Cemetery or Forestdale Home activity department would
be greatly appreciated by the family.
