Jimmy Albert “Jim” Walker
Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Cheryl (nee Thompson) of an incredible 43 years. Loving father of Paul (Meghan) and David (Kristy). Cherished papa of Elle, Bryce, Liv and Emersyn. Dear brother of Norm (Toni). Predeceased by brothers Bob and George. Cherished also by many nieces, nephews, friends and family. Jim was a dedicated and proud Halton police officer for over 32 years. Thank you to family, friends and colleagues for your support during this difficult time. As per Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Tributes at 8:30 p.m. A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 12 noon at Teddy’s, 30 Main Street West, Grimsby. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
