Passed away peacefully at Lisaard House surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the age of 91. Dearest husband of Johanna. Cherished father of John (Rita) and Edward (Kimberley). Beloved Opa of Rebekah Derle (Peter) and Tiffany Rezende (Rodrigo); great-Opa of Gabriel Rezende. A private family burial has taken place. Family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life service at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Hank Kanters officiating. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff and volunteers at Lisaard House for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cambridge Christian Centre and Lisaard House would be appreciated by the family.
Jan will be fondly remembered for his love of life and people, his love of music, and his love for the Lord.
