Izett Wilfred McBride
May 21, 1940 – March 14, 2019
Izett McBride of Westmeath, beloved husband of Gail Bonnie Richardson died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the age of 78 years. Loved and cherished father of Hugh (Marisa Scaramella), Boston; Kirby (Linda Hanusaik), Boston; & Heidi, Montreal and step-father of Russell Newall (Cheryl Taylor), Markham; & Trevor Newall (Alleta Thede), Uxbridge. Loving Grandfather of Emma & Charlotte (children of Hugh); Joshua, Spencer, Ellie & Nora (children of Kirby); and Edward (child of Heidi), Ben & Connor (children of Russell); and Evie & Lily (children of Trevor). Son of the late Arndell and Ellen McBride (nee Anderson). Brother to Arthur, Shirley, Murray and Gayle Stewart. Predeceased by brother Harry.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Izett with his family during visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Monday, March 18th, 2019 from 1:30-4PM, and 6:30-9PM. A Celebration of Life will be held in the St. Andrews United Church, 2045 Westmeath Road, Westmeath on Tuesday March 19th, 2019 at 11:00 AM, followed by a reception in the upstairs hall of the Westmeath Recreation Centre, 119 Synton Street, Westmeath. Spring Internment at the Westmeath United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Parkinson’s Society of Canada.
