Hevenor Carl Raymond – 1938 – 2019 2019

It is with sorrow that the family announces Carl’s passing peacefully at his residence in Bancroft on Monday, March 4th, 2019 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of 58 years to Judy (Smith) Hevenor. Loving father of Neil (Sharon) Hevenor of Woodstock, Paula Hevenor of Kingston, Stephanie Hevenor of Kingston, and Andrea (Colin) Elliott of Bancroft. Survived by brothers Allan (Madeline) Hevenor of Ottawa, Ivan (Donna) Hevenor of Tillsonburg, and sister-in-laws Marion (late Don) and Nora (late Stan). Predeceased by his parents: Harvey and Aleta (Rutherford) Hevenor and his siblings Helen, Max, Stan, Don, Marie, Marion, and Ashton. Carl graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 1963 and filled the position of City Engineer for the City of Woodstock from 1968 until his early retirement at 56 years of age in 1994. In 2006, Carl moved to Bancroft where he continued to pursue his passion for fishing and curling. He filled the lives of those around him with love, laughter and many meals of fish! A celebration of Carl’s life is being planned for the spring. At the family’s request, memorial donations may be made to the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, or the North Hastings Family Health Community Clinic.
