Helen “Irene” Shanks
1928-2019
Helen Irene Shanks, formerly of Braemar Dr. Moncton,
NB; passed peacefully away at The Moncton Hospital, on
Friday, March 8, 2019. Born in Oxford, NS, she was the daughter of the
late Willard and Annie Marshall. Irene enjoyed playing bingo, quilting
and her in early years she loved to fish.
She is sadly missed by her two sons Richard (Nicole) Shanks
of Moncton and Michael (Carol) Shanks of Sus, NB; four
grandchildren Steven and Ryan Shanks, Kailey deWinter (Jordan) and
Justin Shanks (Haley) and by two great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was also predeceased by her Edison
Shanks and by one son David Shanks.
Complete Funeral Arrangement with day and time
of services will be announced.
Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial
Gardens
Donations in Helen Irene’s memory made to the METS Inc. would
be appreciated by her family.
