Gisela was born on July 20, 1939 in Reichensee, Germany and went home to be with the Lord, on March 10, 2019 in Kelowna, BC. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Heinz and their 3 children: Bernice Heimann, Oliver (Jennifer) and Stefanie (Brian) Bittle; five grandchildren: Jenna, Keila, Ashley, Ethan and Ezra and brother Manfred (Karin) Kruger.
Gisela loved social interactions and spending time with people. She was caring and thoughtful to all. She loved her family and especially the grandchildren to whom she was so gracious and welcoming. Some of her favorite things included her dogs, gardening and living in Kelowna. She will be forever loved and missed by her family – husband, children and grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, www.heartandstroke.ca.
