It is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Mavis Lily Claire Hannin on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Mavis leaves to mourn her loss, her children, sons, Dean, Joey & Jason (Shauna); daughter, Shauna (Miles); daughter-in-law, Betty. The joys in her life, her grandchildren, Addison, Mallory (James), Shane (Sydney), Bradley, Olivia (Clayton), Anna (Derek), Katie (Jason), Cassy, Arron, Kayley, Ryan & Jase; great-grandchildren, Kayne, Lilianna, Maylee, Bryer, Bryson, Dax & Blakely. Brothers, Melvin (Loreen), Merlyn (Marylou) & Murray (Linda); sister, Darlene Francis; brother-in-law, Bill Goltz; numerous nieces & nephews. Mavis was predeceased by her parents, Maxwell & Olivia Hutchinson; her husband of over 50 years, James Hannin; oldest son, Darren; brother, Myron Hutchinson; sisters, Maxine Faulkner & Myna Goltz. At Mavis’s request no service will take place. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations may be made in Mavis’s name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Haying in the 30’s (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
